G;day everyone

 

Hi, I'm a Kiwi living in HK for now but really want to come home ASAP. Found this site yesterday and the centre looks wonderful. Love the bush and the remoteness--very different to HK. After 14 years here I definitely appreciate what the Buddha taught about Dukha. If you're totally hung up on $$$ it's the place to be but we all know what suffering that attachment can bring. Now I've divested myself of all those trappings and want to settle down in or around a Buddhist commuity in NZ.

Welcome!! Do come up to Sudarshanaloka and have a look. We are a small community, and the retreat centres is definitely an ongoing project, but I love it. We are also connected with the Auckland Buddhist Centre in Grey Lynn as part of the same worldwide Buddhist community known as the Triratna Community. Nau mai, haere mai.
